The recent expansion at the Rockin Roller is a testament to people helping people. “Our clients, our friends, and our community have made this possible,” says Rozy Bathon.  The new DIY addition was built using mostly recycled and up-cycled materials, some of which were donations. TRRSB clients donated hundreds of their used books for the new reception desk and wallpaper. Jake, from Jakes Chop Shop, donated the new waiting area bench; he utilizes old car parts and scrap materials to create 50's inspired furniture. Out front is a custom bike rack made by a young metalsmith, Silas Dobyns, which was powder-coated aqua by Jeff at Livewire Powder Coating in Leland.  “ I am so overwhelmed by the generosity we have seen, I am so grateful” says Rozy Bathon on the donations received from so many Wilmington locals.

In the expansion the Rockin Roller has added facials featuring skincare from BRYCE Organics and Aguacate & Co..  BRYCE Organics products are fresh and made to order using only organic ingredients. Their vegan skincare line Aguacate & Co gives 1% of their sales to 1% for the Planet, an organization whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes.

In further efforts to benefit the environment, clients are rewarded with $3 off any service for riding their bicycles to the shop. The idea is to make small consumer decisions that make great impacts. Also, all hair clippings are donated to Matter Of Trust, a company that uses hair to clean oil spills.


This salon is rated PG-13. This is NOT a joke! Children are welcome for appointments, however, we do ask that you schedule your child's appointment for early in the day, or by special request on Sunday or Monday. We have children ourselves and respect all of our clients, no matter the age.

* Cancellation & Late Policy

If you should have to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so within 24 hours of your appointment time. If you are more than 15 minutes late arriving to your appointment without a phone call, that is considered a cancellation and you will have to reschedule with added charges for your missed appointment.
